Helping to care for and maintaining housing and making healthy choices
We can help you access and explore employment-related opportunities and/or the volunteer sector. We aim to engage in activities related to employment, volunteering, socio-recreation, and life skills that provide us with a high degree of personal satisfaction and fulfillment intellectually, physically, emotionally, and socially.
Our goal is to help individuals meet their daily living needs, be independent, access the community and its supports, be inclusive of the community, and be part of an engaging community.
Our program is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to clients, empowering them to live independently and enhance their quality of life.

Housing, Rehousing & Lease Maintenance Program
Our Housing, Rehousing, and Lease Maintenance Program is designed to ensure that people with disabilities have safe, stable, and accessible housing while receiving the support they need to maintain long-term tenancy. We work closely with landlords, housing providers, families, and community agencies to reduce the risk of homelessness and promote independent living.
Program Goals
1. Secure Accessible Housing – Identify and obtain housing that meets the physical, sensory, and medical needs of our clients.
2. Support Rehousing – Assist clients in relocating when current housing becomes unsuitable, unsafe, or unavailable.
3. Maintain Tenancy – Provide ongoing lease management support to prevent eviction or lease termination.
4. Empower Independence – Offer education and resources so clients can manage their housing with confidence.
Respite Care Program
Caring for a loved one with a disability can be rewarding but also physically and emotionally demanding. RHSS Respite Services provide short-term, planned, or emergency relief for caregivers so they can rest, attend to personal needs, or manage other responsibilities, knowing their loved one is safe and well cared for.
Our respite care focuses on dignity, safety, and enriching experiences for individuals with disabilities while offering essential relief to their caregivers.
Program Goals
1. Support Family Stability – Reduce caregiver burnout and stress.
2. Enhance Quality of Life – Provide meaningful, engaging care experiences for individuals with disabilities.
3. Promote Community Inclusion – Facilitate social and recreational activities for clients in safe environments.
4. Ensure Safety and Dignity – Deliver care tailored to each client’s physical, emotional, and medical needs.
